Conscious Connected Breathwork

A way back into the body.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is an embodied practice that brings breath, movement and awareness together. A way to notice what is happening internally, experience different states and deepen the connection with yourself.

The Practice

You lie down, and we breathe in a connected rhythm — without pauses between the inhale and the exhale. From there, we listen. Sensations may shift. Emotions may surface. The body may want to move, make sound or become very still.

You might notice tingling, warmth, tension, emotion, movement, stillness, resistance, energy or deep quiet. You might have a strong experience, or a very subtle one. Nothing particular needs to happen for the practice to be worthwhile. There is nothing you need to make happen. My work is to guide the breath, stay with you and make room for whatever is there.

  • what you need a comfortable space, a blanket and 60-90 minutes where nobody needs you.
  • what you don’t need previous experience, a particular belief or the ability to “do it right.”

More than breathing

Breath is where we begin. Movement, body awareness and emotion are all part of the experience. These elements come together to create space to explore what happens in your body, how you respond and what becomes possible when you start paying attention.

  • Breath

    Connected, conscious breathing

  • Felt sense

Noticing how your body responds and what you feel

  • Movement

Following what the body asks for

  • Emotion

    Making space for whatever arises

  • Pendulation

    Moving between intensity and ease

Nervous System Regulation

Not always calm.
More capacity to feel.

Nervous system regulation isn't about being calm all the time. It's about developing the capacity to experience life's full range of emotions while staying connected to ourselves.

Our breath and nervous system are closely connected. Through breathwork and body awareness, we can explore how we respond to stress, recognise our internal states and develop a greater sense of grounding.

Because life isn't always calm. There will be moments of grief, fear, frustration and uncertainty, just as there will be moments of joy, excitement and connection.

The aim isn't to feel less. It's to have more capacity to feel, without losing ourselves in the process.
